Since 1982, Beau Theriot, owner of The OASIS, has directored ongoing growth and development surrounding the 500 acres on which The OASIS is located.  Across the street from The OASIS is The Treasury, Austin's most complete gallery, featuring art and furniture collected worldwide. Around the curve from The OASIS, is Villa Montana, Austin's Premier Concierge Community.  A gated community with a maximum of 98 households, homes start from the low $600's and canyon, garden, and lakeview lots are from the low $100's.  Over two-thirds of the original 500 acres has been designated as a Nature Preserve to ensure that the rolling hillside, which draws so many to Austin and the Lake Travis area, will stay green for years to come.
